FT243 crystals have pins spaced 1/2 inch apart, and are used in MANY transmitters and receivers made from
the 1940s through 1970s.br> Note: most of these are FT243 crystals. Some are hc17 units with
identical pin and socket configuration as FT243 and they will work the same.

Frequency Standard 100 kHz TALL HC6U crystal. These are made to the highest manufacturing
standards with excellent tolerance to ensure that your radios are calibrated and right
on the frequency every time. USE WITH hc6/u SOCKETS.
Dimensions: 1.5" X 0.75" - and the pins are spaced 0.486" apart. Pins 0.050" diameter

Some of the FT243 crystals above are remanufactured crystals using original
WW2 era FT243 holders with a newly manufactured, HC49 or HC49US hermetically-sealed crystal
mounted inside. Like all crystals, these should not be used with a grid current
of greater than about 60 mA. They have been used successfully in many typical rigs
like the Heath DX40, HW16, DX100, Drake 2NT, Hallicrafters HT-40, BC610,
Globe King, Homebrew transmitters and receivers, etc.
