TrueTTY is for for amateur radio digital communications via a
sound card. Supported modes are RTTY (Baudot code), ASCII (7 or 8
bits), PSK31 (BPSK and QPSK) and AMTOR-FEC (SITOR-B, NAVTEX). SELFEC SITOR decoding is possible also. No additional hardware required - you need only a transceiver and computer with a sound card.

SOFT990 is DOS freeware designed for the transceiver YAESU FT-990 Running
also with FT-840, FT-890, FT-900, FT-920 and now NEW for the FT1000MP. A
Future Windows95 version may support the straight FT1000, and the FT1000MP.
This software is by Laurent Labourie F6DEX who is located in Marcq en
Baroeul in the North of France near Lille and the Belgium border. I have
been beta testing releases.
- Juha OH8BQT Windows 3.1 software is a freewareand under development. It is
a functioning version with ssb&cw EDSP filter selection etc. You can get
extra features by registering the software and becoming a shareware user.
You can see the extra features in freeware but can't use them until after
registration. The basic program is functional and useful. I have been
testing releases.
Stephen John Farthing, G0XAR reports that he
recently downloaded an evaluation copy of a -
Spice simulator. The neat
thing is that, practically speaking, the limitations are few and there
is no time limit on it's use. The supplier, with who I have no
connection, seems happy for people to use it without payment.
It's a -
2 MByte download. Note: The package allows you to prepare a circuit design using a windows
interface, run simulations on it, and display the results in graphical
form. Then you can change components, etc, until you get the desired
results. I intend to use it to learn some electronics. For aspiring
NORCAL 2n2222 entrants the '222 model is in the package.
